Sakura blooms!
It is warm in a day and just…just… so gorgeous scenery
at Himeji castle!

This is the tip to enjoy Himeji castle!
1. Please standby at 08:00 at Himeji castle
As many visitors are expected, for entering Daitenshu(donjong part)
A Tokaku order ticket(numbered ticket to enter donjong) will be distributed
from in the morning everyday.
According to the guest who visited today,(they went around 08:30-08:40)
there are not so long queued up…just maybe…about 20 minutes or so..
Then on the way back from donjong, , after enjoying the castle
, they found out…there are looooong lines..about 2 hours long……
so, just be prepare to go to castle at 08:00-09:00 in the morning!
2. Night castle
Since Himeji castle is lighted up, scenery at night is looks differ from
the one in daytime. You might feel you are in the set of movie.
For your information, the park in front of Himeji castle is open 24hours
and you can even bring your drinks/food & enjoy under sakura tree.
3. Yozakura-kai(夜桜会/ Night-time Sakura viewing event)
At Nishinomaru-teien(inside of Himeji castle) and also
Kokoen gargen, located next to castle, have event at night.
