Wanna cruise around Himeji by bike?
If you need road bike, you can rent bike for “free!” at
Harima cycle station @ Shinki Bus terminal 🙂
Only 8 bikes a day. (limited!)
but worth to try!!!! (you cannot make reservation. )
also they have cloak service, so if you have luggage which does not fit
to the coin-locker at station, it might be good place to use.

Diary of 588 What to do in Himeji
The guests who visit Himeji, sometimes prefer
Mt.Shosha to Himeji castle.
Shosha engyoji temple, located in Mt.shosha,
is on the 33-sacred temple Kannon pilgrimage route.
From 25FEB-17MAR 2018, the ropeway
will be out of service for maintenance, so you could only
access on foot. (takes about 1 hour or 1 hour and half).
If you are the person who likes trekking or trailing,
this place is densely must-go place!

Even though it is cold, the atmosphere of shosha is worth to see!

What to do in Himeji Winter(12-2) Seasonal Event
On the 11th FEB, Himeji Castle Marathon will be held from 09:00-.
Due to the marathon, there are some traffic regulation and also
the main gate (oregon ) will be not be used to go to the castle.
please access from the point below
Also, on 10FEB, we closed the booking site due to the marathon.
(we have special deal, since on 10FEB, we have curfew, and also the guests wake up early, since
most of the guests are runners.) so, if you need to accommodate on this day and
