at Otemae Park! Please check this out!
More than 30 potter from all japan will gather.
(my personal preference is Imari and Arita ceramic ! 🙂

Do you want to experience Japanese traditional music
“gagaku ” performance?
There is a chance!
On 30OCT, from 18:00 evening, there is free concert at
Shosha Shrine, which is 5 minutes from Himeji 588 guesthouse.
Admission free, and you can experience gagaku!

ON 13SEP fri. “Himeji castle Moon-Viewing Festival ”
will be held from 17:00-21:00.
You can drink various Himeji local sake, and also
food at the park in front of Himeji castle!
Please enjoy the Moon and Castle !

Diary of 588 Ramen/Udon/Soba What to eat
Do you like ramen?? I do!!!
I am often asked by the guest about “good ramen shop” around guesthouse
and my recommendation is here. “Shinseiken(新生軒）”ramen shop!
If you like rich tonkotsu soup(pork soup), please forget about this.
This shinseiken’s ramen is based on chicken soup. The soup is really clear,
light and tasty so I can drink all !!!
(you can see this clear plain soup! this is original ramen, JPY600. with wonton, JPY700. )
Since the taste is light, many locals visit after they eat izakaya even…hahaha
(gyoza also tasty!!! this picture is for 2 person volume. 1 person is JPY400.)
* caution this ramen is not halal.(contains little pork soup)
