Just a 5-minute walk from Gahaha Guesthouse, you’ll find Tonkatsu Inoue in the Nishinikaimachi shopping street.
Every time I passed by, there was always a line outside, so I’d been curious about it for a while.
But one day—lucky me!—there was no line at all, so I took the chance and went in.
And the result?
Absolutely delicious! No wonder people line up for this place.
I ordered the set meal with a pork fillet cutlet and one fried shrimp for 1,400 yen. By the time I finished eating and walked out, a crowd had already formed outside again!
If you’re in Himeji, I highly recommend giving it a try.
